The Drug Seizure Statistics from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection are astounding. The left has worked incredibly hard to ensure local drug dealers stay supplied and users remain high.
- Ketamine seizures jumped from 452 lbs in July 2022 to 1,300 lbs in August 2022 (overall From Year To Day shows an increase of 10,800 lbs in 2021 to 13,000 lbs in 2022)
- Fentanyl seizures skyrocketed from 687 lbs in June 2022 to 2,200 lbs in July 2022, the highest since 2019
- 12,600 lbs of Cocaine was seized in August 2022, the most in the last three years
- Ecstasy is up 34 lbs from July to August 2022 (60 lbs to 94 lbs, accordingly)
Heroin, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana Are Rolling on Through
- Heroin dropped 14 pounds between July and August 2022 (136 lbs to 122 lbs, respectively)
- January 2022 saw a record low of 6,600 lbs of Methamphetamine (despite 17,800 lbs in July 2022 and 9,900 lbs in August 2022)
- Marijuana seizure is down sevenfold from 70,000 lbs in August 2019 to 10,000 lbs in August 2022
Opium, Oxycodone, and Other Drugs Are Headed to the Party, Too
Opium, Oxycodone, and other uncategorized drug seizures are down 3,000 lbs from August 2021 (9,000 lbs) to August 2022 (6,000 lbs).
Aside from these few setbacks, the left has done a remarkable job ensuring drugs slide over our borders and into our neighborhoods.
